Second week of school holidays

Hi followers!  How was your week?  This week was the second and last week of the school holidays.  I will be glad when school resumes on Monday as I am starting to forget what day we are up to.  I only just realised today is the last day of September.  Where did the month go? I will send my monthly report later on.

Anyway..... back to our week.  Rachel was involved in a sports program held at a Logan high school.  This program is sponsored by Macdonalds and organised by LCC.    From the hours from 9am to 3pm there were three groups of primary aged children being involved with many different sports, coached and played with a handful of qualified sports people.  The kids played six different sports each day from Monday to Friday.  For further details, check out this website: http://www.insportslogan.com.au/index.php?page=cornubia-community-programs

You may remember Monique was busy last week being involved in her teens program.  This week she only got involved in only two activities:  go karting and learning about the basic mechanic skills at a service station. From all the activities she got involved in for the first time these holidays, go karting at Kingston Park Raceway was her favourite.  Check out their website www.kingstonpark.com.au and take your kids if you live in SE QLD.

Her school holiday program is called Krank and it is funded and delivered by LCC.  For further details, check out this website:

What's on your agenda for this weekend?  As for me it will be simply the same old, same old routine like I have each weekend.  But I am hoping to start preparing some scrap pages ready for two scrap meets next week.

It's getting late and I should get myself to bed for some beauty sleep.
 Have a great weekend!
